haha, i'm just joking with the title of my post, all in the name of fun yeah? so yesterday i met up with soon-li and lulu for quantum of solace. lulu was late so we settled on the afternoon show. went for lunch at toast (after being introduced to that place by fran & mich law in june) soon-li had trouble cutting her food, while i had trouble grabbing my food together nicely using a fork. haha. talked/gossiped a lot over lunch, and then we decided to head to far east to look at shoes cos both soon-li and i were kinda in need of new shoes/sandals. we had quite a few laughs at the bead shop where i was getting my supplies- soon-li and lulu kept asking the use for each material (i don't mind questions, girls, they aren't stupid questions!) thank goodness for them, they also helped me find what i was looking for. anyways so after that we went to watch our movie. quantum of solace was not too bad, though i personally felt that casino royale was more thrilling with slightly better action and torture scenes (ok i think not just xf but everyone will think i'm weird and saddistic just saying that). but still worth watching, nonetheless. (:
oh and poor joyce fractured her toe cos she knocked her foot into a book case! the injured toes are bandaged and according to her it'll take about 4 weeks to heal! so GET WELL SOON K! (:
going to town again in just a while, looking for gifts and shopping for stuff. hopefully i'll get my charles and keith sandals that i saw yesterday! (:

saturday was my parent's bad luck day- a parking ticket at macritchie, a snake in the house (which i mentioned in my last post) and no 10% off our dinner at the club cos my mum brought the old membership card that didn't entitle us to 10% off. so yup that says it all, and i must say it was an interesting day indeed (:
been kinda bored over the weekend. it's barely a week since As have ended and boredom starts setting in. talked to toon jin online yesterday afternoon, and got a huge boost of encouragement from him about my plan to set up an online business selling accessories (: so i tried setting up the webbie, but with the new format that blogger has introduced, i'm getting kinda irritated.
so the class is back from penang, and omg after looking at sam's pics it looks like they had SO MUCH FUN! ): wish i was there lah...
anyways a few shoutouts:

so yesterday i met mich law and fran my quarter for lunch. then jn joined us for HSM3. (yes it's HSM3) we were a little late for the movie, but thankfully we didn't miss any of the songs. the story line is a little believable, but i think the main point of most people watching the show is to catch the songs. the movie was not bad, and the mood of it all certainly fits the $30million budget. i shan't rant on with the movie, all i will say is that the show isn't bad as it seems.
anyway this morning my sis found a snake in the house, a small but long one. after about 45minutes and experimenting with a lot of methods, we finally killed it with vigorous whacking and boiling water (we are vicious) i got pictures and videos, but nope it's not going up here. haha. well, i'm pretty used to snakes in the house, not that i see snakes in the house every day, but it's something like the 4th time since i can remember. rest assured that my home is safe for daily living! (:
so this is what i wanted to blog about, cos it's really worth mentioning. more to come with more stuff coming up next week!

yesterday marked the end of the gruelling A levels! celebrations seemed quite muted as compared to the time when O levels ended. anyhows, deep inside i'm sure everyone, if not happy, must definitely be relieved. at least i am. (:
yesterday we celebrated mandy's birthday. there were candles so things got messy with hot dripping wax...haha. then mich, guin and i went to town early to find a 'farewell' gift for sam. met up with the other half of the class for lunch, then hunted for the gift once more, which we finally found at diva- 'best friend' chains for all 4 of us. walked a lot, watched loads of MTVs at the apple shop at cine, disturbing those at kbox (before being chased out by the hostesses) and finally playing at the arcade. arcade was fun with para-para and DDR! we had fun watching each other, so i can't wait to get back to the arcade! (: left the group early for dinner with the family. (:
today sam, mich and i met up in town to shop for a special someone's gift! (: nah-uh, i'm keeping my lips sealed! arghh i can't give away too much details here, cos i think that someone will see it! HAHA. anyway, i think i spent too much time at the bead shop, but i finally got most of the stuff i wanted! (and i'm tempted to get more!) walked around for quite long, asking about free makeovers for prom (which was quite futile), trying on nice dresses (well, mich only haha!) before stopping for a drink. so we talked a lot (and i'm not revealing) then left for home (cos sam
still has curfew)
porsi asked me out for tmr, so i'm still considering. t14 is going to penang tomorrow (and i won't be joining them) so hope they have fun (WITHOUT ME!!!!!!!!!! *cries*)

wow i hit 250 posts with my last entry! not bad not bad. anyways, i had to say that i think i've been burying my head in my books and notes for too long that i got my tuition day wrong! rah. haha. no worries though it's the 2nd time during the As. first i got my math papers mixed up (with enough time to spare!) and now this...aye. thank goodness this time it's only tuition. eeks something is seriously wrong with me...
i'll be back after physics P1! meanwhile,

we're in the midst of As now. this coming week is gonna be tough (note: econs P2 is on the same day as chem P2) so that kinda explains it all.
so far it's been ok, thank goodness. only a few exceptions, like yesterday's pure maths in math P2 wasn't easy. and GP P1 was kinda tough, not the i-can't-do-the-paper kinda way, but having not written an essay in ages made it all the more difficult to write an essay on a topic which isn't really my pet topic. anyway, shouldn't worry about that now, just pray for decent (and good) results for a local uni.
i'll be back after the As! (: for now,
