Happy birthday (minus one day) to my burfday boy!
(We went to Prive @ Chijmes for dinner, only after a wedding gig I had at SMOTA and a tea-time session at Carpenter & Cook.)
Lots of love, girlfriend.
Wrapping up 2014.

Merry and Blessed Christmas to everyone! Our Lord has come!
Yes, I've neglected my blog for most of this year and blogged mostly about special events and highlights of the year. But as Christmas has come and we enter into the Christmas octave (personally I prefer the days leading up to Christmas but for Catholics like me, the octave means a lot more than the preparation period that we are now immersed in our secular world) I will try to continue relishing in the season and what it's truly supposed to signify, and this would be a good time for some reflection on the year that passed.
To say the least, it's been quite a roller coaster ride. It's been tough in many ways, but enjoyable in other ways. My year has been about forging closer relationships with people I didn't think I would, or experiencing new situations and coping with the outcomes of such situations in my relationships with people already close to me.
There was:
1. UK trip with Ernest
2. Treasure #2 retreat with OYP
3. Colleagues at work
4. Family disagreements/arguments

There should be more than this on my list but I think I need a bit more time to get more categories of people on my list- I guess that should be one of my resolutions for 2015.
Moving forward, 2015 is set to be a year of milestones, for myself at least. I'm talking about:
1. A new career (at this point of time, the plan is such). I intend to do more reflection on this issue and really find my direction.
2. A new phase in my relationship with Ernest- we've talked about our future and perhaps 2015 is the year that we can take additional steps to get to the future we talked about having.
There ought to be more but I guess the list will grow as I continue with my reflection.
For now, I'm glad to be in the company of my loved ones this Christmas season- to enjoy a simple day at home- mostly relaxing over tv and enjoying mum's Christmas feast.
The weekend is gonna be a fun one- with another Christmas gathering with the secondary 4 friends, Ernest's birthday, wedding service where I'm playing piano for, and some personal time. Hopefully it doesn't end so soon!
For now, many thanks for those who've watched over me this year- God, for being with me every step of the way; my family, for taking care of me with my earthly needs; Ernest, for being my pillar of support; my community, for the push to be a better Catholic; and friends and colleagues, for everything else.
