Seems like July has passed in a flash but it really wasn't that fast, honestly speaking. Perhaps I've to be slightly thankful that it wasn't like a blink of an eye like I hoped for, cos it allowed me to take time for myself, to do the things I've always somehow not been able to find time for. Appreciating every moment of it, and with that I think perhaps in future is be more able to handle not having the boyfriend around for a prolonged period of time.
That aside, I will say that after the FaceTime chat with the boyfriend this evening, I realised that it might be a bit tough on him now that his summer programme is nearing its end. T-12 days leaves him just about enough to spend on bare necessities. But knowing that makes me heart ache- cos I know how much he'd like to explore a little more the way his friends are able to, or maybe to eat a little better, or to buy a couple more souvenirs for himself or whoever else. Basically, he funded his own summer programme the way some people fund their own overseas school trips. I wish I could do a little more to help, or that perhaps he would accept my help to make it a bit easier on him. But even I, as a girlfriend, am unable to convince the stubborn mule in him to let me help. Meh.
That said I still support him. His decision to head to Seoul for half the summer. His decision to forgo a potential trip to UK with me, like I've been hoping. His decision to take it upon himself to fund summer by himself. Etc etc.
I probably need to be the one to spend a bit more on us now, but I think that with our future in mind, I'm willing to do so. And cos I know he'll give back as much as he can when he's got the ability to do so, when the time comes, and cos I trust him and I know he loves me so.
Will blog about my weekends when I'm more free. The above was something I'd to pen down right away.
Half of July.

I think I'll be keeping it pretty short and simple with this post, until I probably start ranting.
Dad's birthday was just about 3 weeks ago. It was a simple affair with lots of cake (: Dad's old now, but he's still my dad (:
2 weeks ago I met my angel Michelle Law! I don't exactly recall meeting her in December, but whatever it is, as always, we had a great time with out catch-up. YTF at Lucky Plaza, dessert at Ion, tea at Toast (almost forgot about that place!), and shopping in between. Lots of talk and chat, not to mention a bit of gossip too. Haha, girls, as usual. I love her for her honesty in our conversations- anything from family woes, relationships-woes with the boyfriends, and updates about friends. And despite being friends for as long as I can remember, I never knew her sense of style; now I know Michelle is a fan of blue, black and grey. Heh.

Last week was my date with the uni girls! Our last gathering was in December, and for me personally, it was a good meet-up since now everyone is on the same page somewhat. We've all graduated from university after that 3 or 4 years of blood, sweat and tears, and of course, friendship that will last a lifetime. That weekend I recalled how in my final sem it was so tough being in uni, but also thinking how we can act as if none of that happened (but in fact we all actually do know what happened), shows how much forgiveness these girls have. I love them to bits and I can only thank God for giving me a wonderful bunch of friends in university. Congrats on graduation girls. Proud of you all.
The girls.
Coffee art!
My food. Yummy!
Where we went. In Tiong Bahru. Lovely estate!
The Make-A-Wish Foundation event was this afternoon at the lovely Shangri-La hotel and it was a good one. Made stretch bracelets for the little kids there and not only did they like it, their parents seemed to like them too! Got requests from the adults, and it got me a bit concerned since my stuff were made with primarily the kids in mine. But thank goodness some of my stretch bracelets were big enough to fit the adults' wrists. Apart from that the event was great and kinda fun- met Rheyza since she was the one who approached me for the event, and got to know a couple of sponsors- the hotel management, the ladies from Tangs Department Store, Caroline from kidsfantasyparties, and the team from Make-A-Wish. Sis accompanied me, which was great, and being a kids' princess party, there were loads of kids-centric stuff that made my sis and I reminisce about our younger days (:

2 days ago I asked Ernest a question.
If he had 15 minutes left with me, what would he say.
'I would ask you to marry me.' He said.
I'd no expectation of his answer to my question. But it's probably the best answer that he could ever give at this point of our relationship, with just 3 months to our 4th anniversary being together.
To his question, I didn't give a direct answer, in a similar way that I answered him when he first asked me to be his girlfriend.
But a while after I told him, I would say yes, without a doubt. In fact, I will say yes if he asked me anytime, anywhere.
That's how sure I am that he's the one, and how sure he knows that I am the one.
