Word of the day: fides.
In the words of one of my closest friends, it also means faith. Or to do things steadfastly.
The way to test one's steadfastness: to shake the ground underneath it and see if it will waver.
Makes a lot of sense especially for those experiencing trying times in their lives, big or small.
And then I'm reminded of the motto of my alma mater-
Simple in virtue, steadfast in duty.

It's been about 2 weeks since that special day, but I hope it's not too late to just make mention a few things about it!
Had our Groupon ramen dinner at Clarke Quay on the eve. At the same time, we went to Beer Market for a drink, and bought our tickets to 'Swimming with Sharks' for the weekend (btw 'Swimming with Sharks' was awesome!). He gave me my gift too, which was a 2-sided black-and-white board with a few pictures of us and our toys :D
His present for me! There's pictures of us, my toys Pooh and Eeyore, and my gift for him, TY toy Avalanche! (:
Tao's dinner on the Sunday evening before we went to catch 'Swimming with Sharks'. Slightly disappointing as it wasn't as nice as the first time we went about 3 years ago :/
(Well, 3 years is a long time for such change to take place anyway)

Although we couldn't celebrate on the actual day itself due to a company trip I had opted to attend in Seremban, Malaysia, it was still quite a good thing cos' we got to celebrate our special day on 2 separate days (:
