1st day at internship today. it was ok since it's mostly training for a couple of days. not sure how it will be when the real work begins; we shall see how then. i liked what i wore today btw, joce too (: (bumped into her on the train on the way back!) shall take a pic of it when i next wear that same outfit again :P oh oh, and i found a nice dress just downstairs of my workplace, in a cut that i've kinda been searching for for quite long! i should go check it out soon when i go back to office to officially start work (:
flea on saturday- wasn't very good cos of problems about the stall. ask me why when you see me and i shall tell you the story of a certain bunch of......unpleasant stallholders (seriously unpleasant is an understatement. i would say something worse, but unfortunately this is gonna be made public). although i made much less than the last flea during christmas, at least i managed to break even so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. thanks to lil sis and the boyfriend for their help, and lil sis' friends for coming down (:
amidst the rather unpleasant flea, i had some great responses from flea shoppers! had many compliments about my jewellery, with one even thinking that i study arts (like fine arts). heh. so happy so happy (:

let's just say that my exams kinda did end off with a bang.
out of all my papers, tax is perhaps one of the not-so-good ones. corporate accounting and audit weren't too bad, and that leaves nation building, which wasn't too good either (what's new right? i can't write for nuts...), to compete for the worst-exam-of-the-sem award with tax.
post exam liberation wasn't so liberating when i discovered, to my utter horror, that i was unable to send messages out of my phone. initially i'd thought it's due to the overwhelming number of people using their phones, then again it almost never happens in uni (unless you shift an entire WP rally to campus......only then would your phone stop working.......) there came a point where phone calls wasn't possible for a while, and then it started restarting on it own! ):
met mich (and anna!), and mich tried to sneak me into their uni library! but to no avail cos the very anal security caught us. i'd initially commented on this, but i've since removed my comments for fear of having to defend my remarks. either way, i think the security guard just has a fantastic memory of library users. or that, he can read our poker faces. oh well. enough said.
what happened next is simple: headed down to the comcentre. got it partially fixed after about 1.5 hours. got caught in the comcentre after i'd gone back to collect the phone due to the very heavy rain. soaked my pumps by walking straight into a flooded area. late for toni&guy haircut (not like it mattered cos the stylist snipped my hair to satisfaction really quick!) starhub person called me to try fix my phone, but it was so noisy at toni&guy i could barely hear the tech guy over the line. but in the end i got it fixed. thanks to a very patient tech guy who was very patient with me even though it was a simple job. hurray.
and, fast forward to my time at home wasn't the best and as i'd expected......so, yeah. hence, post exam drama.
tomorrow will be better. goodnight world. and, happy holidays.
p.s. i had quite a cute stylist today HAHA.
